Mon fils avait enlevé son tee-shirt et son sous pantalon pour se faire un oreiller et se protéger de la lumière pour essayer de dormir, un flic est venu dans la nuit et lui a demandé s’il avait froid. Il lui a répondu oui, et ce dernier lui a pris son tee-shirt et son pantalon. Mon fils a vomi pendant la nuit à plusieurs reprises, il a sonné longtemps, très longtemps (ce fameux bouton comme à l’hôpital où on appelle quand on a besoin d’aide), personne n’est jamais venu. Il s’est alors mis à taper contre les murs pour que quelqu’un vienne enfin. Un flic est venu et lui a dit d’arrêter et de fermer sa gueule, sans même lui demander ce qu’il se passait. Lorsqu’ils ont été déférés, les enfants n’avaient aucune info d’où ils étaient emmenés

Pouvez-vous me dire quel être humain mérite à ce point de ne plus être considéré ? De quel droit, ces agents de police peuvent ne pas amener du papier toilette à un gardé à vue qui en réclame ?

Quand les enfants ont été déférés au tribunal, ils n’avaient aucune idée d’où ils partaient. Well, we certainly have had a nice Spring, haven’t we? The flowers started blooming, and your grass got greener. However, the warmer months are upon us! It is never too soon to start thinking about your yard in terms of it looking its best for the summer season. Here are some tips that can help you get there:

Test Your Soil

More than land-grant schools in the U.S. have an extension service that will perform soil testing for a small fee. You can find the closest office to your house on the United States Department of Agriculture website. The results you receive will tell you about the nutrients in your soil and the soil’s pH balance. Handling it this early will help you make informed decisions about fertilizing and treating pH. If your soil has low pH, meaning it is acidic, you can spread lime now. If you have high alkaline soil, add elemental sulfur. Either way, you will benefit from spring rains, which will help the soil absorb what you’ve laid down. But you will want to tackle this task now &#; sending in samples and waiting for results can take several weeks. 

Clear Leaves and Debris

While it is generally fine to leave the leaves where they are in the fall, large dense swaths of yard debris can block the sun from reaching your lawn, making it difficult for grass to sprout at all. If you did not use a leaf blower last fall, do some cleanup now. Use the collected leaves for compost. Better still, mulch the fallen leaves with the mulching kit or attachment for your mower or tractor. The churned-up clippings will feed your lawn and reduce the amount of fertilizing.

Apply Fertilizer

Bags of fertilizer display three numbers separated by hyphens. The numbers refer to the ratio among nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), in that order. Again, your soil test will let you know what nutrients your soil is lacking. For grasses planted and intended for cooler, northern climates, put down at least one application of fertilizer in spring (if you need fertilizer). Bagged fertilizer is best distributed with a spreader, either a push model or a snap-on version that attaches to your riding mower.

Repair Walkways and Edging

Winter can be brutal on pavers, walkways, and driveways. Aside from damage done by your snow blower or a plow, frost heave &#; the natural freeze-and-thaw cycle &#; can split concrete and knock stones out of whack. To keep out water and help keep a problem from worsening, seal any new gaps in concrete with concrete-crack filler. Secure loose pavers or patio stones temporarily. If the damage is extensive, consider having a landscape contractor dig up and reset the stones, making sure to start 6 inches below the soil line to minimize shifts from future frost heave. Tackling this project now, while pros are less busy, may cost a bit less than booking a repair at the height of the season.

Flower Beds

Now that you have got the practicalities of your garden makeover out of the way, you can start to get creative by planting the flower beds. Before you can plant anything, you will need to prep the beds. You can do this by digging out any weeds that you find. It is important that you dig the full root out or they will be back very quickly. Then put some compost down and start to plant some flowers. Think about planting some low-maintenance perennial plants that will come back next year. Once planted, you should add plenty of mulch around the edges to stop the weeds coming through and ruining the flower bed.

I’ve always appreciated plant-dyed products, but recently I’ve become more interested in the process and fascinated by the nature around us and what it can do, thanks to Rebecca Desnos author of @plantsaremagic.

I was researching different plant dyers when *AVFKW* mentioned a Fibershed, which is something I had never heard about. I did a quick google search and was truly in awe of Fibershed's founder Rebecca Burgess (yes,a different Rebecca :)) and her mission, purpose and success thus far.

Rebecca, a master dyer and textile expert took a deep look at farmers and textile mills within the proximity of her home. She wondered how she could dress herself using dyes, fibers and labor within the smallest radius possible and created a Kickstarter to find out. 

Most of us buy our clothes from all over the world. People aren't necessarily aware of the wealth of goods available in their own community, how it supports jobs and decreases carbon output all while respecting the landscape of our own communities.  

A Fibershed is a network of local independent farms, mill producers, sewers, knitters, felters, natural dyers, spinners, ecologists and ultimately consumers that support a specific geographical region in order to grow an international system of textile communities that support one another. Rebecca's initial Kickstarter started a movement whereby communities across the globe started to create regional fibersheds of their own.  

Rebecca, and her Fibershed c3 organization, help to stimulate producers to implement carbon farming, connect regional businesses within the textile industry and educate current and prospective consumers making it easier to support their own biosphere as well as each other. Fibershed's ultimate goal is to have a worldwide network of fibershed communities whereby soil-to-soil communities grow while supporting their own local economies.

Taking all of this on alone would be a mammoth, if not an impossible, undertaking. With the support of local aligned consumers, makers, producers, farmers and ultimately the Fibershed organization, doing all of this is much more attainable, which is not to say that it is easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Rebecca knows that the clothing industry cannot change in one year, but there are many ways consumers can decrease their carbon imprint by purchasing clothes Made in America (or local to where they live), buy products made of natural materials, upcycle, swap clothes, buy vintage, and simply be committed to stop buying fast fashion. When we have a collective of conscious consumers who believe and make slow and ethical, Rebecca explains, "We're going to have a multifaceted approach to how to live your life in a way that's simple and graceful and harmonious -- and it's for everyone."

El 17 de noviembre de , la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO) declaró el 28 de septiembre como Día Internacional del Acceso Universal a la Información. Teniendo en cuenta que varias organizaciones de la sociedad civil y organismos gubernamentales en el mundo han adoptado y celebran actualmente este Día Internacional, la Asamblea General de la ONU también adoptó el 28 de septiembre de como Día Internacional para el Acceso Universal a la Información.
