Jamestown

Well, I have repaired the barrel, the midsize Peter Lynn fish and the pointable KAP rig. I have driven almost 800 miles in just under 12 hours, carried the kites and the barrel up to the second floor of the hotel and will bring them back down in the morning. I am ready to relax and enjoy my leasure time activity!

The weather looks good, the end loader is already at the field as a barrel anchor and as I want some KAP images with many of my pieces I am planning on flying the Barrel, the Caterpillar, Octopus, Trilobite, Gecko, Fish, and both Blue Devils. I have no idea how I will get them down and packed.

Oh well, time to crash.

2nd floor, with all that heavy stuff! Today i helped a friend -- he is moving to a new home -- pack heavy furniture into a U-haul van. The winds were good, but by the time we finished, it was getting to be dark out! My muscles ache tonight, but not from flying! Whaah!

I was not near the wind instruments. I think I know who that is, but would be very embarrassed to get it wrong.

I did not get the pictures I wanted. The wind was up and down Saturday and I chickened out lifting a camera over
people in those conditions. And the #$%^ Barrel sucked the last bit of energy out of me. Sunday would have
worked better, but I was not in the mood, my hands were cramping from Saturday and I was ready to sell the
Barrel cheap (the urge has passed).

Now I have a graduation on Saturday, and if I don't drive down to Perry Farm on Sunday a weekend off. My mood
should improve when my body stops hurting. Maybe just do some KAP on Sunday.

:| Aww...a beat up ol' Teddy Bear then. :(

Flying just for the fun of it might do you good.
