In the period of ignorance, the Arabs realized that there was a creator. In this context they did not deny Allah, the ignorant Arabs used the word Allah to express the supreme messenger and creator apart from the other gods and gods. This use shows us that the faith in God exists in the Arabs of the Age of ignorance. But there were a few people who were called Hanif in the time of the ignorance. by Hanifler; Hz. They were those who were associated with the religion of Abraham, who believed in Allah, who refused to worship the prostitute, and those who did not have a common worship. In this context, in the period of ignorance, the faith among the Arabs was worshipped. They believed they them in the world. They were often made of stones, trees and some mines. Sometimes they eat their foods and they eat them. In the time of the ignorance, the number of the temple in which the gods were found was quite high. One of the most important temples was the Cabbage. There were hundreds of gods in and around the Cave to be worshipped. But the Arabs of the Age of ignorance did not believe in the Hereafter, and some of them accepted and worshipped the Jews as God. In the time of ignorance there were also some people who believed that the angels were the daughter of God. In the Arab Peninsula there lived Jews and even a few Christians. The Jews often lived in Medina. Christianity continued to exist in the north of the Arab Peninsula, as a widespread belief among the Gassans and the Hyrels. In this context, this study discussed the understanding of religion in the Arabic period of ignorance and also included information about the definitions of 'religion' in Hebrew and the Qur'an in Kerim. The Arabs before Islam used the word religion and religious understanding. In Arabic, the word God is used. In this context, a general information was sought to be given about the principles of multi-godship and putperity in the Arabs during the ignorance period and certain main gods worshipped.
