Yaklaşık iki yıldır Beyoğlu’nda faaliyetlerini sürdüren merkezde Ermenice’den Yunanca’ya, Kürtçe’den Gürcüce’ye, Lazca’dan Farsça’ya, Zazaca’dan Osmanlıca’ya kadar bu topraklarda konuşulan ve unutulma tehlikesiyle karşı karşıya kalan dillerle yine büyük bir coğrafyaya yayılan halkların dansları öğretiliyor.

Türkiye danslarının yanı sıra birçok dans merkezinde görmeye alışık olmadığımız Yunan dansları da Geoaktif’in ilgi çekici kurslarından. Zira Geoaktif, yıllardan beridir Yunan dansları alanında ülkemizde özgün çalışmalar yapan Antropia Yunan Dansları Topluluğu’nun bünyesinden doğan bir grup. Haftada bir defa 2 saat süren derslerde, bizim bildiğimiz adıyla “sirtaki”, Yunanlıların tercih ettiği adıyla “hasapiko” öğretilmiyor sadece. Ağırlıklı olarak hasapiko olsa da, Türkiye kaynaklı Zeibekiko ve Pontus dansları da dâhil olmak üzere Yunanistan’ın tüm farklı bölgelerinden derlenmiş bir repertuar öğretiliyor. Üstelik sadece ayak figürleri gösterilmiyor, bu figürlerin adı, öyküsü, Yunanistan’ın hangi bölgelerinde ve hangi eğlencelerinde yapıldığı gibi birçok bilgi de veriliyor.

5 aylık programı ortalama bir performansla tamamlayan bir katılımcı irili ufaklı 15 Yunan dansını icra edebilecek duruma geliyor. Bu da, geniş bir çeşitlilik gösteren Yunan müzikleri eşliğinde dans edebilmek anlamına geliyor. Geoaktif’in üst katında bulunan, sosyal ve kültürel dans buluşmalarının mekânı Kaliteras’ta yapılan Yunan dansları gecelerinde de öğrenilenler pratiğe dökülebiliyor.

TÜRKİYE'DEN BAKINCA YUNANİSTAN DANSLARI

Türkiye insanının Yunan dans ve müzik kültürü hakkındaki bilgisi –aslında bilgisizliği- yıllardır sirtaki-taverna-tabak kırma üçgenine sıkışıp kalmış. Tüm o “grek müzik”, “greek taverna”, “sirtaki show” gibi kavramlar aslında hiç de Yunan halkının zengin dans kültürünü temsil etmiyor. Yine de bu sakat algılayış biçimi, yer yer “Rum taverna” geleneğinin de katkısıyla, ülkemizde yerleşik bir algı haline gelmiş. Bu yüzeyselliği bir kenara ittiğimizde, son derece zengin, köklü ve günümüzde de tüm canlılığını koruyan bir dans kültürü karşımıza çıkıyor. Üstelik günümüz Avrupa ülkeleri içinde Yunanistan, halk danslarının hala en canlı olduğu ülke olarak kabul ediliyor.

Geoaktif’de Sirtaki-Hasapiko müziklerinin geleneksel enstrümanı Buzuki kursu da veriliyor. Böylece hem Yunanca dil kursu, hem de dans ve Buzuki eğitimleriyle karşı kıyının kültürünü bir bütün olarak öğrenmek mümkün oluyor. 

KÜLTÜRLERİN KESİŞME NOKTASI

Geoaktif Kültür ve Aktivizm Merkezi’nin kurucularından Cemal Atila, amaçlarını şöyle açıklıyor: “Kültürler yan yana, birlikte güzeldir. Tek başlarına sıkıcı ve kasvetli bir taşra kasabası görünümündedirler. İşte bu yüzdendir ki, hangi yüce neden uğruna olursa olsun, tek bir kültürün daracık kalıplarına mahkûm olmamak gerekir. İlle de bir bütünlük, bir çerçeve çizmek gerekirse, ulus-devletlerin aptalca sınırları yerine, doğanın ve coğrafyanın kültürlere tanıdığı yaşam alanları fazlasıyla yeterli bir referanstır.

Üzerinde yaşadığımız coğrafyanın cömertçe bize bahşettiği büyük bir kültür şöleni içinde yaşıyoruz. Fakat birbirimize karşı büyük bir ilgisizlik ve körlük içinde yaşıyoruz. Yan yana, iç içe yaşayıp, birlikte bir ömür geçirdiğimiz kültürleri bir kerecik olsun merak etmez, dillerinden iki kelime, müziklerinden bir şarkı, danslarından iki adım öğrenmeyi nedense hiç düşünmeyiz.

Birkaç dil ve kültürle ilgilenen biri olarak ben mesela, bu yerel etno-duyarsızlığımızın tipik bir örneğiyim. Ben kırk iki yıldır bu ülkede yaşayan bir Zazayım; Zaza olmayan dostlarımla ilişkilerim boyunca, bir duygu hep içimi kemirmiştir; “bu insanlar niçin benim dilimi hiç merak etmezler, niçin hiç soru sormazlar, niçin iki kelime Zazaca öğrenmek istemezler?” Hep böyle düşünmüşümdür ve kimi zaman dostlarıma sitem de etmişimdir.
