s. Günümüzde uluslararası ekonominin en önemli konusunu ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeylerindeki farklılıklar ile ülkeler arasındaki ticaret hacimleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda özellikle yüzyıl ile birlikte hızla gelişen teknoloji, ülkeler arasındaki gelişmişlik düzeylerini hızla farklılaştırmaktadır. Ülkeler arasında meydana gelen teknolojik farklılaşma, aynı zamanda bu ülkelerin hem ekonomik büyüme düzeylerini hem uluslararası ticaret hacimlerini hem de küreselleşen dünya ekonomisindeki rekabet gücünü etkilemektedir. Küreselleşen dünya ekonomisinde uluslararası ticaret hacminin giderek yükselmesi dikkate alındığında, teknolojik gelişmenin ülkelerin uluslararası ticaretlerinde ve ekonomik büyümelerinde önemli derecede etkiye sahip olacağı öngörülmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, ülkelerin teknolojik gelişmelerinin teknolojik ürün ihracatına olan etkisini ve hangi sektörlerdeki teknolojik ürün ihracatının ülkelerin ekonomik büyümelerine daha etkin şekilde katkı sağlayacağını ortaya koyacak çalışmalar önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma ile öncelikle Türkiye'de ve OECD ülkelerinde ortaya çıkan teknolojik gelişmelerin teknolojik ürün ticareti üzerindeki etkisi ortaya koyulmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu doğrultuda, yaşanan teknolojik gelişmelerin teknolojik ürünlerin ticareti ve ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiyi ne yönde etkilediği araştırılacaktır. Bununla birlikte çalışmanın ana hedefi, Türkiye'nin hangi sektörlerdeki teknolojik ürün ticaretinin ekonomik büyümeye daha fazla katkı sağladığının tespit edilmesidir. Böylelikle, Türkiye'de ve OECD ülkelerinde ekonomik büyümeye en çok katkı sağlayan teknoloji sektörleri belirlenecek ve Türkiye ile OECD ülkelerinin refah düzeylerini daha hızlı bir şekilde yükseltebilmesi için tespit edilen sektörlerde uzmanlaşarak teknolojik ürün ticaretini arttırması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında dört model kullanılmıştır. Bu modeller sırasıyla teknolojik gelişim modeli, teknolojiye dayalı (içsel) büyüme modeli, uluslararası ticaret ve teknolojik gelişme modeli ve ekonomik büyüme ve teknolojik ürün ticareti modelidir. İlgili modeller Türkiye ve OECD ülkeleri üzerinde test edilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucunda üç önemli bulgu elde edilmiştir. Bunlardan ilki, teknolojik gelişme düzeyinin yüksek teknolojili ürün ihracatı üzerinde olumlu katkısının bulunması ve bu yüksek teknoloji sektöründeki ihracat seviyesinin de ekonomik büyüme üzerinde pozitif yönlü etkisinin bulunmasıdır. Bu doğrultuda, Türkiye'nin yüksek teknoloji sektörlerinden elektrik makineleri ve aparatları endüstrisi ihracatında uzmanlaşması durumunda ekonomik büyüme düzeyinin daha fazla arttığı tespit edilmiştir. OECD gelir ortalamasının altındaki ülkelerin ise, bilgisayar ve ofis makineleri sektörünün ihracatında uzmanlaşması ve böylelikle daha fazla ekonomik büyüme sağlamalarının mümkün olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. OECD gelir ortalamasının üzerindeki ülkelerin ise, bilgisayar ve ofis makineler endüstrisi ve elektronik ve haberleşme endüstrisindeki teknolojik gelişmelerin ihracatları üzerinde etkili olduğu fakat bu sektörlerin ihracatlarının ekonomik büyüme düzeyleri üzerinde anlamlı etkilerinin bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, teknolojik gelişme düzeylerinin doğrudan ihracatları üzerinde etkisi olmamasına rağmen, yüksek teknoloji sektörlerinden havacılık ve uzay endüstrisi ve bilimsel araçlar endüstrisi ihracatlarının ekonomik büyümeleri üzerinde önemli katkıları olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. Nowadays, the most important issue of the international economy is the differences in the development levels of the countries and the trade volumes between the countries. In this context, especially rapidly developing technology with the 20th century differentiates the level of development between countries. The technological differentiation between countries also affects both the economic growth levels of these countries as well as the international trade volumes and the competitive power in the globalizing world economy. Given the growing international trade volume in the globalizing world economy, it is foreseen that technological development will have considerable influence in the international trade and economic growth of countries. In this respect, it is important to study the impact of technological developments of countries on the export of technological products and the extent to which the export of technological products will contribute to the economic growth of the countries. This study will first tried to put forward the impact on trade of technological products of technological developments emerged in Turkey and OECD countries. In this direction, it will be investigated how technological developments affect the relationship between trade of technological products and economic growth. Furthermore, the main objective of the study is that technological products trade to economic growth of Turkey is identified which sectors that contribute more. Thus, high technology sectors that contribute most to economic growth in Turkey and OECD countries will be determined andin order to raise the welfare level of OECD countries and Turkey more quickly in the detected sectors specializing aims to increase the technological products trade. In the study, four research models were used. These models are technological development model, technology based (endogenous) growth model, international trade and technological development model and economic growth and technological product trade model respectively. Related models were tested over Turkey and OECD countries. Three important findings were obtained as a result of the analysis. The first is the positive contribution of the level of technological development on high-tech product exports and the positive effect of the export level in high-tech sector on economic growth. In this regard, specialization of exports of electrical machinery and apparatus industry as a high-tech sector has been determined that further increased the level of economic growth in Turkey. In addition, countries that under the OECD income average have shown that computer and office machines industry can specialize in exports, thus enabling more economic growth. Countries that over the OECD income average were found that technological developments in the computer and office machinery industries and electronics and communications industries have a positive impact on the exports, but it is found that exports of these sectors have no significant effect on the economic growth. Nevertheless, despite the fact that level of technological development have no impact on exports, it has been found that exports of aerospace industry and scientific instruments industry as a high tech sector have significant contributions to the economic growth.
