Et pour les Chiites au contraire, c’est une journée de deuil commémorant la mort de l’imam Hussein, petit-fils du prophète Mohammed (Psl). «Selon les chiites, la justification originelle d’Achoura c’est le fait que Dieu a accordé la victoire à ses Prophètes et particulièrement à Moïse. Donc les chiites ont cherché à introduire une interprétation nouvelle et à asseoir toute une mythologie par fanatisme pour attirer l’attention des musulmans et dévoyer la signification de la fête vers un culte de la famille du Prophète particulièrement de son neveu Hussein», renseigne Imam Maktar Kanté dans un entretien accordé à WalfQuotidien. Pour lui, cette interprétation est tendancieuse et n’a pas de base solide. Car, cet évènement n’est que pure coïncidence dans le calendrier lunaire.

Réjouissances païennes

Pour l’imam Kanté, le fait que les garçons s’habillent en filles et les filles en garçons, le jour de la Achoura, peut être un legs négro-africain voire païen. Car, il n’y a aucun texte de l’Islam qui prescrit ce changement vestimentaire. Au contraire, précise- t-il, la morale musulmane est très sévère sur le fait que les hommes et les femmes travestissent leurs tenues vestimentaires. Ce qui est recommandé dans le Coran, sermonne-t-il, c’est de jeûner le neuvième et le dixième jour de la Achoura, comme le voulait le Prophète de l’Islam (Psl).

I hope you all are well. Recently, I visited Puerto Vallarta and I wanted to share my experience! Before deciding to go to Puerto Vallarta, I researched safe and beach vacations in Mexico. I wanted to see what the hype was all about! I heard so many great things about Puerto Vallarta that I felt like I must go!

It was very small. When I landed, it took over two hours to get my visa! The lines were so long and crowded! They do not have many outlets so try to charge your electronics on the plane or at your hotel if you are going to the airport. They have cabs and private shuttle companies available to get you to your hotel! I did not want to risk calling an Uber and being canceled on. Although Uber is legal in Mexico, I had issues calling Ubers to and from Airports in Cabo.

I did google some individuals call Uber to PVR airport with no issues but I did not want to take any chances. The cab fare is fixed. You will be given a ticket and asked the name of your hotel. The price depends on the hotel zone. I paid $18USD to get to my hotel, which was only about four miles away from the airport. Out of curiosity, I opened the Uber app at the airport and the fare would have been 3$!!!!!!! I did take Uber back to the airport for $2 and had no issues.

Keep in mind, Puerto Vallarta has a strip of hotels and some of them are also located in Punta de Mita. I heard the beaches over there are beautiful! It is about forty minutes from where I was staying so I was unable to go. Crown Paradise Golden: Puerto, Vallarta Mexico (Rating:6/10). The location was nice and right off of a major road near a local mall and Walmart. I booked the all-inclusive package. This was my first experience booking an all-inclusive package and it had its perks!

I liked not having to stress and google top restaurants to try in the area. The food is there. You just show up at specific times for breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner. This hotel had an adult only and a family side. You can dine at any of the restaurants on both sides! The hotel recommends that you have to call and make reservations between 8 am-2 pm for dinner. Well&#;If you are arriving after that time frame, Good luck!

Most restaurants are booked up especially due to COVID. I did not like this concept..I booked the King Ocean view. It was really beautiful! The room was a bit dated but had no issues. The A/C worked. The water pressure was a bit low but other than that, no issues!

-Overall food was good but not the best

-Breakfast buffet seemed to be the same every morning. I found most of the food to be cold.

-Food quality overall was inconsistent.

The beach cabanas were easier to get versus the ones near the pool. What I did not like was the constant vendors trying to sell me excursions, food, massages, etc. I get it, it is the way they make money. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is not the area! I am not sure if it&#;s just this part of the beach or the entire beach. It was a bit of a nuisance. I have traveled all across Mexico and this was the worst experience I have encountered with vendors! Even If I tried to nap, they would still come by!

The water was not the cleanest or prettiest I have seen, especially in Mexico! It was slightly murky. Like I mentioned, perhaps it could have been the waters that were in front of my hotel and not the entire beach. I did read on google about pollution issues in Puerto Vallarta

Best Tacos in Puerto Vallarta?
After a night in the town, I decided to go to Pepe&#;s tacos. I heard so many good things about this place. Boy am I glad that I went. Pepe&#;s tacos: Rating 10/10

Just go! The service. The food. Everything was exceptional. I also want to mention they close late (5 am). The prices were extremely reasonable. FYI: They only accept CASH. I stopped at a random taco truck and got a few tacos and a quesadilla in Downtown Puerto Vallarta. Cheap and delicious! Overall really good.

Puerto Vallarta has nice nightlife! I had no issues finding entertainment! This is located in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Clubs stay open relatively late.

I primarily walked or used Uber for the most part. The rides were cheap!

-Bus (heard it was cheap but did not take it)

The locals were nice and friendly! I spent five days in Puerto Vallarta. Overall, I do not think I would revisit Puerto Vallarta. Do not get me wrong, it is beautiful! I am glad that I experienced it but I have been to other parts of Mexico that are just as beautiful. Have you been to Puerto Vallarta or plan on going?

A fun fact people like to share about the Capitol Records building is, &#;Did you know it&#;s designed to look like a stack of records?&#; As the world&#;s first circular office building, it&#;s easy to draw that conclusion but it&#;s incorrect.

The iconic tower was designed by Welton Becket and Associates, with architect Louis Naidorf serving as lead designer. Naidorf himself said that if the building were home to an iHop, people would assume it was designed to look like a stack of pancakes. When Naidorf was drawing up the circular design, he wasn&#;t yet aware it was intended to house a record label. The unique shape came about because it was simply a more cost-efficient design.

Located at Vine St., the story tower was completed in and is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. Music legends like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, The Beach Boys, and the Wrecking Crew are among artists who recorded some of the most influential music in history inside this beloved landmark. The recording facility, Capitol Studios, includes three main studios as well as a notorious subterranean &#;echo chamber&#; engineered feet underground by famed guitarist Les Paul.

Topping the building is a foot rooftop spire with a blinking red light. Those who can decipher Morse Code may notice that the light continuously blinks H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D, one letter at a time. Ornamental lights are wrapped around the spire at Christmastime to form a glowing red Christmas tree, the lighting of which is Hollywood&#;s annual signal that the holidays have begun.

A vibrant mural featuring legendary jazz musicians Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more can be seen on the south exterior wall of Capitol Records. Commissioned by the Los Angeles Jazz Society, artist Richard Wyatt created the mural in It has since been restored and fired onto 2, hand-glazed ceramic tiles to ensure the mural&#;s longevity.

The building is also largely recognizable because it&#;s frequently featured in film and TV. It can be spotted in Quentin Tarantino&#;s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Independence Day, Mad Men, Lana del Rey&#;s Doin&#; Time music video, and Grand Theft Auto V, to name just a few.

Estos meses de verano descuidamos en general nuestra salud dental. Nuestras rutinas se alteran y consumimos más alimentos o bebidas que tienen un mayor contenido de azúcar y ácidos. Es normal que en estos meses aparezcan de nuevo problemas como sensibilidad dental por comer alimentos fríos, caries por ingerir comida ricas en azúcares o, incluso, traumatismos dentales debido a una actividad física más intensa. Os dejamos los consejos para evitar que esta no sea tu situación y proteger tu salud bucodental.

Consejos para cuidar tu boca en verano

• No descuides tu higiene bucal: el verano suele alterar nuestras rutinas. Comemos más veces fuera de casa y, como consecuencia, nuestra higiene bucal se ve afectada. Cepillarse los dientes, al menos dos veces al día, y acompañarlo del hilo dental es la mejor forma de evitar este tipo de problemas. Si no fuera posible, ocasionalmente podremos optar por chicles sin azúcar y con xylitol que estimulan la salivación y ayudan a expulsar restos de comida
• Mantén una dieta equilibrada: el verano es la época de las tentaciones. Helados y alimentos ricos en azúcares se muestran en cada esquina para hacernos descuidar nuestra alimentación. El consumo continuo de este tipo de alimentos puede ser muy perjudicial para nuestra salud bucodental. Por ello, cuidar nuestra alimentación beneficiará, no solo a tu salud en general, sino también al estado de tu boca y dientes.

• Hidrátate: La saliva actúa en nuestra boca como un potente desinfectante, ayuda a prevenir caries y frena el desarrollo de infecciones. Mantenernos hidratados es la mejor forma de estimular la generación de saliva que nos ayuda a preservar nuestra salud bucodental.
• Aléjate de los hábitos perjudiciales: ya hemos hablado de cómo la mala alimentación o la falta de higiene pueden afectar a tu boca, pero existen otros hábitos perjudiciales para nuestra salud bucodental que muchas veces no tenemos en cuenta. Evitar, por ejemplo, masticar hielo o alimentos muy fríos puede ser una forma sencilla de mejorar tu sensibilidad dental. De la misma forma, utilizar protectores dentales mientras practicas deporte impedirá el debilitamiento o la fractura de piezas dentales. Aplicarse protector solar es otro de los hábitos que debemos fomentar: los cacaos o cremas pueden ayudarnos a prevenir el cáncer oral.

No lo olvides: Visita a tu dentista

Recuerda que el dolor o una molestia en la cavidad bucal es motivo suficiente para acudir al dentista. No tienes que esperar a que pase el verano para preocuparte por tu salud dental.

La prevención es parte fundamentar del proceso para evitar problemas, por ello también se recomienda realizar una revisión en verano para comprobar que nuestra salud bucodental sigue en su mejor estado.
