Özellikle biçimleme/modelleme(modelaj) üzerine kurgulanan heykel üretimi için yeni bir potansiyel niteliğinde olan bu olanaklar bildiri kapsamında; 3 Boyutlu Baskı ve 3 Boyutlu İşleme teknolojileri üzerinden ele alınacaktır. Heykel üretim tekniklerinden ekleme(3B Baskı) ve eksiltme (3B Cnc işleme) metodlarını kullandığı medium bağlamında simüle edebilen bu teknolojiler ; üretim hızı, detaylandırma, boyutlandırma v.b. gibi avantajları sayesinde sanat üretimene yeni katkılar sağlamaktadır. Bu araştırma da heykel sanatının içerisinde bulunduğu dönemin teknik imkanlarını kullanma potansiyeli üzerinden ele alınmış bir araştırma özelliği taşımaktadır. Ek olarak, 3 Boyutlu Baskı/İşleme teknojilerinin heykel sanatı bağlamında üretim süreçleri üzerindeki katkılara, kullanım alanlarına, üretim kabiliyetlerine ve heykel disiplini üzerine getirebileceği yeni olanaklara odaklanmaktadır.
