Re: Rev Size

Here's the challenge with the naming convention. The first rev (or Rev 1) came out about 1989. A few years later, they came out with a much smaller Rev, and they named that one the Rev 2. It's smaller and quicker than a Rev 1. Then . . . . they came out with a Rev that was smaller than a Rev 1 but ...

Is a Rev 1.5 - 1 and 1/2 the size of a standard Rev. I'm trying to figure out the sizing on the kites. Thanks

Re: Hello from West Central Illinois

There was a kite festival held there for a few years and 180GO! went out and flew for it. There weren't any serious local kiters that I can recall. Maybe someone else will remember better than I can. The lady that organized the festival has since moved to Florida. Thanks Mike. Go figure it's like a...

Re: Hello from West Central Illinois

Hold the phone and stop the presses. I will not be getting a Delta as my kite to start with. Instead I'm going to be getting a Revolution. I like the idea of a stunt kite way better then the Delta. I hope to have one in hand by the end of this month or the beginning of next month. I'm really looking...

Re: Hello from West Central Illinois

Thanks Goes!!! I already know that first kite starting out will be a Delta. I just have to decide weather I want a 9 or an 11 foot. I'm leaning towards the 11. I like the idea of the 11 because of it's size. The more people that see it just maybe it will jump start some people into getting a kite. I...

Hello from West Central Illinois

Hello everybody. My name is Robbie and I live in Hamilton, Il. I used to fly kites when I was a youngster. Now that I'm getting ready to turn 60 I figured it's time to get a kite and relive some of my childhood. I'm thinking on getting a 9 or 11ft. Delta to start out with and go from there. There's ...
