Divisé en deux salles, le service accueille les patients dans une grande salle de consultation ainsi que dans un appartement adapté. Ce dernier constitue une première au Maroc au sein d’une structure hospitalière, permettant à la personne en situation de handicap d’effectuer ses soins à travers une mise en situation dans un environnement du quotidien.

En outre, huit ateliers adaptés thérapeutiques y sont proposés : Cuisine, Broderie, Peinture, Poterie, Informatique, Jardinage et Sport.

Rappelons que la réadaptation lie les soins en ergothérapie et la mise en situation d’apprentissage pour faciliter et permettre la réappropriation des gestes de la vie quotidienne. Elle a ainsi pour objectif de promouvoir l’autonomisation de la personne en situation de handicap et à terme, la réussite de son insertion socio-professionnelle ou socio-éducative.

Cette action s’inscrit dans le cadre du projet « Amélioration de la prise en charge en rééducation et réadaptation fonctionnelle des personnes en situation de handicap au Maroc », réalisé en partenariat avec PULSE.
