ready to host the world giants with the slogan<br />
of “Sun For All, All For Sun”.<br />
A large number of professional visitors, as well as<br />
the participation delegations coming from around the<br />
world will participate in the fair to be held at the Istanbul<br />
Expo Center between the dates of 04th and 06th<br />
April <br />
The companies that will participate in 12th <strong>Solarex</strong> Istanbul<br />
Fair, the preparations of which continue at full<br />
speed, have to book their places as soon as possible.<br />
The Fair will host the arena, in which various matters<br />
related to solar energy production in Turkey and in the<br />
world will be discussed.<br />
The purpose of the fair to be executed by the Voli<br />
Fuar is to evaluate the solar energy resources and solar<br />
energy markets with their all dimensions, to create<br />
an environment in which the latest developments and<br />
applications can be discussed and talked over in a lot of<br />
ways, and new products will be exhibited by the profes-<br />

Enerjinin yarısı yerli kaynaklardan<br />

Enerji ve Tabii Kaynaklar Bakanlığı Müsteşarı<br />
Dönmez, enerjide dışa bağımlılığı azaltmak<br />
için yerli kaynaklara büyük önem verdiklerini<br />
belirterek, “Şu anda ürettiğimiz ürünlerin<br />
yaklaşık yarısını yerli kaynaklardan temin<br />
ediyoruz” dedi.<br />
Enerji ve Tabii Kaynaklar Bakanlığı Müsteşarı Fatih<br />
Dönmez, enerjide dışa bağımlılığı azaltmak için yerli<br />
kaynaklara büyük önem verdiklerini belirterek, “Şu anda<br />
ürettiğimiz ürünlerin yaklaşık yarısını yerli kaynaklardan<br />
temin ediyoruz. ’e kadar bunun üçte ikisini yerli<br />
kaynaklardan üretmek gibi bir hedefimiz var” diyerek<br />
açıklamalarını sürdürdü.<br />
Dönmez, geçen yıl güneş ve rüzgar enerjisine yönelik iki büyük<br />
ihale gerçekleştirdiklerini hatırlattı. Türkiye’nin, geçen yıl<br />
Avrupa’da en çok güneş santrali kurulan ülke olduğuna dikkati<br />
çeken Dönmez, “Rüzgarda ilk üçteyiz. Bu da gösteriyor ki yenilenebilir<br />
enerjide Türkiye’de halen fırsatlar var. Bir sevindirici<br />
tarafı da bu teknolojileri üreten dünya çapındaki firmaların<br />
Türkiye’ye gelip üretim tesislerini kuruyor olmaları. Ar-Ge<br />
merkezlerini buraya kuruyor olmaları bizim açımızdan son derece<br />
önemli” diye konuştu.<br />
Dönmez, şöyle devam etti:<br />
“Geçen yıl 4 bin megavat güneş enerjisi santralini devreye aldık.<br />
Muhtemelen bu sene de yine bin megavat civarında bir<br />
güneş panelinin devreye gireceğini düşünüyorum. Belki <br />
megavat civarında da rüzgar türbini devreye girer. Bin megavat<br />
rüzgarın üretim miktarıyla bir doğalgaz santralinin yıllık<br />
üretim miktarı farklıdır. O yüzden biz yenilenebiliri şu açıdan<br />
istiyoruz, emisyon olmuyor, herhangi bir atık oluşturmuyor<br />
ve yerli doğal kaynağı kullandığımız için tercih ediyoruz. İthal<br />
kaynaklar için biz ciddi miktarda bedel ödüyoruz. Amacımız<br />
bu rakamları düşürmek. Şu anda ürettiğimiz ürünlerin yaklaşık<br />
yarısını yerli kaynaklardan temin ediyoruz. ’e kadar bunun<br />
üçte ikisini yerli kaynaklardan üretmek gibi bir hedefimiz<br />
var. Yenilenebilir ve yerli kömürle alakalı politikalarımız bu<br />
amaca hizmet etmek için belirlendi. Enerjide dışa bağımlılığı<br />
azaltmak için yerli kaynaklara büyük önem veriyoruz.”<br />
Bakanlık olarak büyük bir ağaçlandırma kampanyası başlattıklarını<br />
hatırlatan Dönmez, “Başlattığımız kampanya ile her<br />
doğalgaz ve elektrik abonesi için birer fidan dikilecek o ilde.<br />
Trafiğe çıkan her yeni taşıt için de o ilde bir fidan toprakla buluşturulacak.<br />
Buna doğalgaz, elektrik ve akaryakıt sektörümüz<br />
destek veriyor. Benzer şekilde kömür üreticileri de destek verecek.<br />
Toplamda 5 milyon fidanı toprakla buluşturacağız. Bir<br />
enerji bir nefes diye yola çıktık” dedi.<br />

Turkey currently meets almost half of its energy<br />
needs from local sources, Undersecretary<br />
of the Ministry of Energy and Natural<br />
Resources Fatih Dönmez has said.<br />
Dönmez said that Turkey is placing huge importance<br />
on local sources of energy so as to reduce its traditional<br />
dependence on imports. “We want to meet two-thirds of<br />
the country’s energy needs from local sources by ,”<br />
he said, adding that the ministry held two major tenders<br />
for solar and wind power plants last year.<br />
He pointed out that Turkey set up the highest number<br />
of solar power plants in Europe in “We are third<br />
Europe in wind power. This shows there is still a lot of opportunity<br />
in Turkey’s renewable energy sector,” he said.<br />
“Another important development was the arrival of global<br />
renewable energy giants in Turkey. Many of them have<br />
already set up production, research and development facilities<br />
here.”<br />
Dönmez said that Turkey generated 4, megawatts<br />
(MW) of solar energy as of and was planning to add<br />
another 1, megawatts by the end of this year. It is also<br />
planning to set up wind farms with an installed capacity of<br />
megawatts.<br />
He said that there is a huge difference between a<br />
1,megawatt wind farm and a gas-fired power plant<br />
with similar output. “We prefer renewables because there<br />
is no emission, it’s clean and we can depend on completely<br />
domestic natural resources.”<br />
“We spend a considerable amount on energy import. Our<br />
aim is to reduce that number. At present, approximately<br />
half of Turkey’s energy output comes from local sources<br />
and we want to raise it to two-thirds by ,” Dönmez<br />
added.<br />
“Our policies on renewables and domestic coal have been<br />
determined to serve this purpose. We are attaching great<br />
importance to domestic resources in order to reduce external<br />
dependence for energy,” he said. Dönmez also<br />
revealed that the energy ministry last week launched an<br />
afforestation campaign, which will plant one sapling for<br />
each natural gas, electricity subscriber and new car owner.<br />
“The campaign will be supported by the different energy<br />
sector companies. We will plant 5 million saplings in total,”<br />
Dönmez said.<br />

görünüyor. Sonrasında da çatı<br />
pazarıyla umarız daha güneşli<br />
günler göreceğiz. Fuar bu yıl da<br />
güzel geçiyor, geçen yıla yakın<br />
bir yoğunluğa sahibiz. İç piyasa<br />
olarak aslında daha sakin<br />
geçmesi beklenen bir seneydi.<br />
Onun dışında çevre ülkelerin<br />
ilgisi geçen yıldan daha yüksek.<br />
Bu da aslında şunu gösteriyor,<br />
Türkiye hem üretim hem de<br />
kurulum anlamında bu bölgeye<br />
hakim olan bir ülke oldu. Artık<br />
kabul gören bir kalite anlayışımızın<br />
olduğu ve endüstrinin<br />
gitgide geliştiğini görüyoruz.”<br />

of neighboring countries<br />

Turkey has become a country<br />
that command this region in<br />

“The sector is not going ahead<br />
as fast as it was in , however<br />
everyone‘s expectations<br />
have been already in this direction.<br />
Among the unlicensed<br />
projects received, there are<br />
some, licenses of which are expired,<br />
and those which could<br />
not be done and those which<br />
can not be done. This year our<br />
expectation is that it will go<br />
again a bit quiet. Our aim is to<br />
open up a little to abroad with<br />
preliminary protocols that we<br />
have done with large holdings<br />
in this quiet period. At a later<br />
time we will possibly have the<br />
opportunity to return to Turkish<br />
market again. A number of<br />
some flexions have occurred in<br />
the roof market in regulations<br />
on 10 KW and below, however<br />
we expect these flexions in<br />
industrial roofs so that the way<br />
of our sector will be cleared.<br />
They mainly talk about making<br />
smaller RESAs (Renewable<br />
Energy Source Areas) for<br />
large projects in different ways<br />
in the land systems, but there<br />
is not any step taken in regard<br />
with it. We expect some support<br />

“<strong>Solarex</strong> is one of the fairs we join regularly.<br />
In recent time, we have raised our panel<br />
production capacity to MW. We are the<br />
biggest domestic made panel producer of Turkey.<br />
After 3 months, we are going to become<br />
the biggest photovoltaic panel producer by far<br />
in Europe with 1 GW. Alongside growth in<br />
our production line we have also focused on<br />
exports and currently we export panels to 12<br />
various countries. In Turkey, our panel supply<br />
is continuing in unlicensed projects and it<br />
has been nearly 4 years we work as four-shifts<br />
at our plant. We have not dropped from this<br />
tempo at all and we will sustain. In Turkey,<br />
we supplied panel nearly 30 MW in Central<br />
Anatolia region and MW in Eastern<br />
Region. At the fair we did productive negotiations.<br />
We have negotiated a project finalized<br />
nearly MW. After the fair naming it we<br />
are planning to make agreement. You know<br />
the law entered into force up to 10 KW and<br />
this was the news everybody waited. Before<br />
everything, I live in Antalya as the General<br />
Manager of CW Enerji. I am the first person<br />
in that region receiving call letter for 10 KW.<br />
We are planning to make the project in a short<br />
time. There are nearly dealers and sales<br />
representatives in Turkey. We serve by means<br />
of our dealers and sales representatives in this<br />
kind of project volume. Together with the<br />
regulations issued, we did remarkable works<br />
in order to be able to offer compact solutions<br />
with our dealers and sales representatives.<br />
We have done a good work for packet and<br />
cost ranging from 1 KW to 10 KW. We<br />
can supply the products to our dealers ranging<br />
from solar panels to AG panel including fuses<br />
to all products. We have taken our place in<br />
the market swiftly and we will be one of the<br />
biggest players of the sector. In this concept,<br />
we give importance to industrial rooftop projects<br />
and we offer special solutions. In ,<br />
there was a very big marathon in the sector<br />
and it was an intensive fair. For this year we<br />
thought that the fair would be intensive, we<br />
got advantage much more over our expectation.<br />
Even I can say the fair was more productive<br />

us very positive. People have been<br />
continuously in search to have solar<br />
energy install on their roofs but<br />
there is not a full of its answer. In<br />
other words, while there is a very<br />
advancement in some matters,<br />
some of them still remain closed.<br />
Actually, people want to have solar<br />
energy install on their roofs,<br />
however regarding confusion in<br />
this regulation they begin to ask<br />
how they can make. Namely, on<br />
the one hand the regulation provides<br />
easiness; on the other hand<br />
there is difficulty in understanding<br />
it. The year was a very good<br />
year for everybody. In fishing, you<br />
know there is a period when everybody<br />
cast fishhook; fishes are<br />
caught by every fishhook, in fact<br />
it was exactly like this. As a natural<br />
result, it was a very good year<br />
for us. In <strong></strong>, we still continue<br />
our sales in MW scale. This is a<br />
very well development, because a<br />
brand and quality recognition of<br />
Fronius has been occurred. Having<br />
a positive aftersales service,<br />
having perceived by people being<br />
able to reach whenever they want<br />
makes positive effect on the sales<br />
of Forinous in <strong></strong>. Forinous has<br />
begun the year fast and advances<br />

In solar thermal production sector, Solimpeks, who<br />
is ranked first in the Turkey and second ranked in the<br />
world, designs and manufactures systems that use renewable<br />
energy sources for a more sustainable future.<br />
Solimpeks, which manufactures the world’s most efficient<br />
solar collectors and package systems, already<br />
manufactures the worlds and Turkeys leading solar hybrid<br />
collector and exports its products and experience<br />
to 81 countries. Solimpeks, not only exports its products<br />
but it also shares its know-how technology with<br />
other international companies. The cooperation with<br />
Uzbekistan based company named Artel Group is the<br />
latest example of it. Solimpeks shared its knowledge to<br />
Artel Group on manufacturing, selling and installation<br />
on these know-how technologies. The cooperation between<br />
two companies made a successful impact on export<br />
of renewable energy technology in Turkey.<br />

güneş kolektörü ve 25 bin adet boyler olacak yeni fabrika,<br />
Özbekistan pazarının ihtiyacını karşıladıktan sonra yakın<br />
pazarlar olan Kazakistan, Türkmenistan, Tacikistan, Kırgızistan,<br />
Azerbaycan gibi Türkî Cumhuriyetlere ihracat yapmayı<br />
hedefliyor. Bu iş birliği ile Özbekistan ve komşu ülkeler<br />
için temiz enerji kullanımı noktasında güzel bir adım atılmış<br />
oldu. Bu projede yer almaktan dolayı çok mutluyuz. Diğer<br />

as stainless steel tubing and aluminum mounting kits<br />
since November The new factory has an annual<br />
production capacity of thousand m 2 solar collectors<br />
and 25 thousand hot water boilers aiming to satisfy the<br />
needs of the Uzbekistan market. After achieving that<br />
goal, another goal is to export its products to other<br />
Turkic Republics such as Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan,<br />
Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.<br />
With this cooperation, a good step was taken at the<br />
point of using clean energy for Uzbekistan and neighboring<br />
countries. We are very happy to be a part of this<br />
project. We sincerely hope that Turkey’s others sectors<br />
will also share their knowledge with Uzbekistan with<br />
